Hello my name is Brenda! I have teamed up with my classmate, Rebecca Loredo, to work on this amazing senior project called Painting Smiles. We want to paint a mural in a children center so that we can get the kids involved and make them happy. This blog will document the progress and step-backs along the way of making Painting Smiles a reality! :)

We have a Place!!
Well, it is very exciting to know that we found a place! The Make-A-Wish foundation office didn't really work out but thanks to some connections we were able to get a place. It is a Boys and Girls Club located in Bay City. We are so excited to know somebody was actually interested in what our project ans was willing to help. The person that helped us is Janet Peden. She donated the money for this club to be built. When she heard about our project she got very excited with the idea of having teens painting a wall. Specially, since the purpose is making children happy. We are so thankful to her and we won't let you down Janet!

Congratulations Brenda! It seems as though now you have already set your path and know what you're going to do and how to finish your senior project. Although keep in mind that one has to be organized and prepared for anything that comes up. I hope you do well in the Boys and Girls Club. Again, congratulations and good luck!
ReplyDeleteHey Brenda,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finding a place for your mural! I agree with Alex. You already have your project on the right track. You just have to maintain your focus and determination. Don't slack off because you are too far ahead. Who are your panel members? How will they help you with the project? How will they evaluate you?
