Well, last week that we were at Bay City two local newspaper came over to the Boys and Girls Club and interviewed us. The newspaper Matagorda Advocate came on Tuesday and The Tribune came on Thursday. Adriana Acosta, from Matagorda Advocate, seemed very excited to do an article on us because she used to be involved with the Boys and Girls Club. She was a teacher there so whenever something happens at the club she likes to write about. I think we gave her a pretty good story. :)

Now that you are basically done, you should look back on your goals. Did you accomplish everything you set out to accomplish since the beginning? Now that you and Rebecca are done, I think now it's a good time to reflect on the process you just went through and look at your accomplishment and mistakes, if any. Good job on finishing your project ahead of time.
ReplyDeleteThanks! :) I agree with you that this is a really good time to reflect on what we have done. Since we are practically done, Rebecca and I need to think about the things we could have done better. There are definitely no regrets with our actual mural. I am very proud of it and I wouldn't change a thing about it! The thing we could have improved on, or done better, is getting the kids more involved. We did an activity with them but we would have loved to have done more. Painting was probably not the way to get them involved but I wished we could have thought of other things. :D Overall, I'm pretty proud of what we accomplished!!
